- Judges will try, as far as possible, to avoid disqualifying entries as ‘not as schedule’. If appropriate, judges may transfer entries to a more suitable class rather than disqualify them. The judges may use their discretion over maximum sizes, especially when flower arrangements spread in hot weather.
- Exhibitors are restricted to one entry per class.
- All Entry Forms, to be submitted via the Show website or sent / delivered to :- City of Durham, Show, c/o Durham Town Hall, Market Place, Durham, DH1 3NJ . Entry Forms must be submitted by 7pm on Friday 11th September. Later entries will not be accepted. The Show Committee reserve the right to allot the spaces for or move exhibits; the right to amalgamate or divide classes.

- Objections – any objection must be lodged with the Show Committee before 3pm.
- All exhibits are entered at the exhibitors own risk, the Show Committee accept no liability for loss or damage.
- No exhibit may be removed until after the show has ended at 4pm. All exhibits must be cleared by 5pm. Exhibits remaining after this time will, where appropriate, be given to local charities.
- This show is open to all who wish to enter.
- In matters concerning the running of the show, judging and prize-giving, the Show Committee’s decision is final.
