Dropping Off Your Exhibits
Please drop of your entries at the Town Hall between:
4.00pm – 7.00pm Sat 12th September or
7.30am – 9.00am on Sun 13th September
When you arrive, please collect an envelope containing your printed entry card(s) from the table in the Town Hall reception area. One of the stewards should then direct you to the location of the relevant table(s) set out ready to receive your entry(ies). Please place the entry on the table along with the entry card.
Please note that exhibitors will not be allowed in the Town Hall between 9.00 – 10.30am when the judging is due to take place.

Collecting Your Exhibits
Exhibits must be removed by 5.00 pm
Any uncollected exhibits will be donated to local charities or disposed of.
Vehicle Access and Parking
Durham Town Hall has no dedicated parking spaces or loading bay. Vehicle access to the Market Place, immediately outside the Town Hall entrance, is subject to strict parking and loading restrictions.
Event Deliveries, Drop-offs and Collections
No parking, loading or unloading is permitted between 10:00 and 16:00.
All event-related deliveries, collections, loading and unloading must therefore take place:
Before 10:00 – typically between 08:00 and 10:00
After 16:00
Event organisers, suppliers and contractors should plan their arrival and departure arrangements accordingly and ensure these restrictions are communicated to anyone making deliveries to the venue.
City centre congestion charge
A Road User Charge Zone operates in the Durham City peninsula. A daily charge of £5 is in effect between 10.00am and 2.00am, Monday to Sunday and must be paid within 24 hours of entering the zone, (otherwise a £50 fine Penalty Charge Notice will be issued).

Easy access from the A1(M) at Junction 62 Carrville Interchange. Head east on A690 towards Durham City Centre. Pay and Display car parks are within walking distance including Prince Bishops, Walkergate, The Sands and The Riverwalk. Alternatively, use one of the Durham City Park and Ride services from Belmont Park and Ride (PR1), Howlands Farm Park and Ride (PR2) or Sniperley Park and Ride (PR1) all of which drop off in Durham City centre – see www.durham.gov.uk/parkandride
